Frida, 17, is from New Zealand — the daughter of dear friends I’ve known since my London days in the ’90s. They visited us this year, and with her brother and father, brought a breath of fresh air. Through their stories, they offered us a glimpse into a way of living deeply connected to nature — far from the urgencies of city life and its manufactured needs.
